The North Wales Eye Specialist Centre

is a state-of-the-art clinic and theatre facility aiming to provide outstanding eye care in the North Wales region. It offers fully comprehensive, independent Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) accredited Ophthalmology outpatient facility in North Wales

Our Clinic

The ground floor clinic suite has a spacious waiting area and provides 2 consulting rooms and a treatment room for minor surgical procedures. The suite has been furnished with the latest Zeiss retinal scanner, Humphrey visual field analyzer and IOL master 700. We also have facility for YAG laser procedures including capsulotomy, peripheral iridotomy and SLT. We can offer specialist advice and treatments for various eye conditions including, cataract, glaucoma, surface eye disease. We can monitor and treat medical retinal conditions like diabetic eye disease , macular degeneration , surgical retinal conditions and various eye lid conditions from removal of lumps and bumps to correction of droopy eyelids and rolling in and out of eye lids.

OPERATING THEATRE SUITES

The first-floor theatre suite, accessed by lift or stairs, has a full Ophthalmic theatre where we can provide surgery for cataracts, glaucoma and many eyelid conditions. The theatre process is optimized and streamlined so that patients spend minimal time waiting, in line with the Royal College of Ophthalmologist’s best practice pathways, whilst receiving high quality care by one of our four expert Consultant Surgeons.
